EYCROMON – union of extremes.

Founded in 2009, the German band combines elements of synth pop, wave and electronic on the base of classical compositions with significant melodies and expressionistic lyrics.

The project around classical trained singer Mandra Gore and composer/keyboarder Bergerac is
affected by the Wave movement of the 80s. Themes like melancholie, weltschmerz, endtime, mania and human decay characterize lyrics and composition – nevertheless EYCROMON present themselves in a new, vanguard disguise and convince especially live with authenticity and expressivity.

In November 2011, the first official album “Awake from the Sleepers” was released on Danse
Macabre Records – along with a German tour. The debut was therefore discussed in various print and online magazines and got controversial reviews.
Their single “SSD (Club Mix)” stayed for 8 weeks in the DAC (German Alternative Charts) and
finally climbed up to No. 14.

At the end of 2010, their song Remember from the in limited edition released promotion album
“EYCROMANIA” had been chosen and presented at the Newcomer Show on BAVARIA 3 with
Dagmar Golle.

Six months after the release of their debut, EYCROMON are again in a creative period – for autumn 2012 a new release is planed – the second album will go back to the stylistic and musical roots of the band. Many concerts and a few festival gigs are planned for 2012 as well – in the past, EYCROMON have been seen as support for The Invincible Spirit, Absolute Body Control and many more.

Friday November 25th Das Bunker will feature a special “All Vinyl” Night in the retro room. No Cd’s, No laptops, no controlers, just black records carved with the stompiest old school jams. DJ Amanda is joined by guests Nightchilde (Killing Spree) and Michael Stewart (Helter Skelter/Perversion) in a breif return to what DJing everywhere was once like.

Upstairs will feature guest DJs Bractune (Whiteqube) and Nemesis (Boston) while the noise room features Franck H-Bomb + a mystery guest! Admission for this event is $5 before 10:30pm.
